Spring Blush Picks

It may be spring, but it sure doesn’t feel like it! Even though the weather isn’t feeling too springy, my makeup does! I have been reaching for a lot of peachier tones and brighter shades recently. I’ve seen a few people do Spring makeup picks, but I am going to break it down into different posts! I may even make this like a week long thing, where I post a different one everyday. Who knows, we will see! For today though, I am going to share with you guys my favorite blushes I recommend for the spring time! I am going to share some high end and some drugstore so we will have a nice mix! Lets get into it.

Becca Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Flowerchild

I love the formula of the Becca Mineral Blushes. They are so smooth, pigmented, and blend beautifully. Flowerchild is a peachy pink blush with a little bit of golden shimmer. It gives you the perfect glowy flush to the cheeks!

Elf Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky

This is such a stunning blush. It is baked, so it is ultra glowy. It’s a beautiful peachy blush with a golden sheen. I love ultra glowy skin so this is the perfect blush it achieve that kind of look! You can use as both a blush and a blush topper. These are only $4! Plus they are Vegan as well!

The Balm Balm Springs Blush

This blush is described as an earthy rose shade, but I think it’s also a little peachy! I love this one for everyday, since it does have that rosy tone and it is all matte. I really like the formula of this blush as well, it is build-able, which I love in case I go in with a heavy hand!

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

I feel like I don’t need to say much about this blush besides that is is perfect. It has a buttery formula that applies beautifully and add the perfect flush and luminosity to the cheeks. It is described as a luminous peach, which I totally agree with! It is flattering on so many skin tones, and is super affordable! This truly is my #1 blush pick for spring!

Becca Mineral Blush in Songbird

Another Becca blush?! Yes, because they are too good! Songbird is a bright orangey pink shade that is a unique shade in my collection, I don’t have anything like it. I love using it on days where I don’t have intense eye makeup on, because it adds such a pretty color to the cheeks. I feel like this will be perfect for both Spring and Summer, because it will look stunning with a tan too!

Swatches

I adore all of these blushes and their formulas! I feel like whenever I think of spring I always think of Peach and brighter pinks. And shimmer! These have also been go tos for a lot of spring looks the past couple months!

Okay lovely people, those are my top 5 blushes for spring! You definitely can tell I have a type. ๐Ÿ˜‚โค๏ธ I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what you’d like to see next in my ‘Top 5’ series!

What’s in my cart? | Colourpop Cosmetics

Some of my favorite posts to read are makeup hauls and wish lists. I was trying to come up with some cool posts, and I thought about how much makeup I really want to try. I thought a cool little series I could do is makeup from certain brands/stores I really want to try. I probably will stray away from Ulta since my monthly makeup wish lists consist of mostly makeup from Ulta’s website. I am going to start this series with one of my all time favorites brands, Colourpop. They have come out with so much new stuff that I haven’t been able to get my hands on, but desperately want! I am going to keep this short and sweet, so I will stick to the top 5 products I want to try! Lets get into it!

No Filter Concealer

I got the No Filter Concealer when it first came out last July. It is a medium to full coverage, demi matte concealer that is stunning! I absolutely love it, but the color I have is a tad too yellow. I’ve been able to make it work, but when I saw that they had redone their shade range I got so excited! I am in the shade Light 12(previously Fair Neutral 10.) This concealer is $6 and worth Every. Freaking. Penny.

Pressed Powder Blushes

I have tried the Pressed Powder Bronzers and Highlighters and they are some of my favorite bronzer and highlighter formulas in my collection! I haven’t been able to grab the blushes since they released me, but trust me I have really wanted to! The shades that are on my wish list are Why, Hello, Barre Hopping, and To the 10.

In-Nude-Endo Highlighter Palette

I

have the Gimme More highlighter palette, which is one of my favorites. I love the shade range of this palette because it is perfect for everyday, and also if you want to use it in your makeup kit the shades are perfect for any look! I am wondering if the formula of the highlighters in the palette are the same as the Gimme More palette or their individual highlighters. The shade in Gimme More are a tad more sheer, but still give your cheeks and intense wet glow. The individual highlighters are a tad more pigmented but still give you that wet glow. Both are very build-able and amazing!

Kathleen Lights Dream Street Eyeshadow Palette

Kathleen Lights is one of my absolute favorite beauty blogger. I love her! I am not surprised at all that she created such a stunning palette. I have recently mentioned that I am trying to play with more color and create a lot of different makeup looks. I love the shade range in this palette because it has stunning warm tone mattes and shimmers to create everyday looks, yet it has the stunning blues and reds that you can add and create a unique colorful look. It really inspires me to create so many different looks!

The Main Stage Eyeshadow Set

This is an awesome set for anyone trying to expand their makeup collection or add to their makeup kit. This includes all of their new single shadows from their spring collection. I love this because it comes with my some everyday warm shimmers and mattes, but also it comes with a ton of colorful shades! I have been wanting to expand my Colourpop single eyeshadow collection because they are my favorites shadow formula I have tried. $90 seems kind of steep, but for 24 shadows and a large palette I think it is worth the splurge! Their shadows are worth it!
There we go guys! Those are the 5 products from Colourpop that are sitting in my shopping cart, patiently waiting to be mine! This was a fun post to do, and I hope you guys liked it! Let me know if you guys have any particular brands you’d like me to do next! Just leave a comment down below.

Makeup Wishlist | April 2018

Hello beautiful people! I know I have been MIA the past month, but life got a little crazy and I didn’t have much time to post. But, I am back baby! And I have a lot of awesome posts coming your way. ๐Ÿ˜‹ Today we are doing one of my favorite posts to do, my monthly makeup wish list! Brands just keep coming out with more and more stuff, which isn’t a good thing for my wallet. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Let’s get into it ๐Ÿ˜‹

Essence Pure Nude Highlighters

Essence just came out with 3 new shades in their Pure Nude Highlight line! They come in Sunlighter(golden) Cosmolighter(mint) and Spacelighter(rose). I adore the Pure Nude Highlighter, and I can’t wait to get my hands on these shades! I’m most excited for Cosmolighter and Spacelighter because of how unique they are, but I will definitely grab Sunlighter and try to use it as a glowy bronze topper!

BH Cosmetics Weekend Festival Palette

I have been really trying to venture out of my comfort zone and play with color more. This palette really inspires me to create a ton of different looks! The formula and pigmentation look really nice. Plus it costs $18 for 20 shades! And again, can we just look at those shades!?

Laura Geller Life Glow On! Illuminator Palette

I already own their Baked Gelatio Swirl Highlighter Palette which has Ballerina, Gilded Honey, and Peach Glow. I love the formula of the highlighters. I would want this one because I’ve recently gotten into more unique shades for makeup and I feel like these shades are more wearable yet still very unique!

Winky Lux Eyeshadow Palettes

My amazing friend Maecee recently gifted my the Winky Lux Kitten Palette and I am in love with it. They recently came out with the Coffee Palette(bottom picture) which is teh perfect everyday cool/neautral toned palette. When I went on their website to look for the Coffee Palette, I saw that they came out with the Cashmere Kitten Palette(top picture). I love the formula of these shadows that I want both of them ASAP! I’m excited to try more products from this awesome cruelty free brand!

Milani Conceal & Perfect Foundation

I know this isn’t a new foundation, but they did recently come out with new shades! I have wanted to try this ever since it came out, but I knew the colors woudlnt match me. I recently went to Walmart and saw this shade (00 Light Natural) and it looks like a perfect match! I really want new foundations to try so as soon as I can, I will be picking this up!

Not Your Average Nudes Exposed Set

I saw this set on Ulta’s website and immediately fell in love. I have wanted to try Tarte’s Exposed blush for years but never want to spend the money. I love their mini blushes because honestly I will never go through even the mini! If I did, it would be worth it because it would take me forever! I love that you get the blush and 3 other beautiful products! These would be amazing for my kit! (Except I would keep the lip lingerie for me ๐Ÿ˜˜) Plus Tarte is my favorite high end brand!

Winky Lux Charm Highlighter

Another Winky Lux goodie! I saw on Ulta’s website that they came out with a mini of their Charm highlight! It is their white/pink holographic highlighter. Like I said, I want to add more unique products to my collection and I feel like this highlight I’d unique! Plus, this mini is $10 vs. their full size for $18! Minis for the win!

That is is for my monthly wish list for April! There are so many awesome products coming out, and I cant wait to see the Summer releases! Also, I will have my April Anti-Haul up this week too!

And another thing! (Can I stop talking) ๐Ÿ˜‚ since I have posted in a while I’m trying to figure out what posts I should do! I’d love to know what you guys would like to see! Leave me a comment of any ideas/requests you have! โค๏ธ

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty | Top 5 Cruelty Free Picks

It’s my favorite time of year! No, besides Christmas. It’s Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty! This amazing sale happens twice a year where there are 21 days of awesome makeup bargains. A ton of high end makeup half off! Who doesn’t love that? I chose my top 5 products that will be on sale this go around to share with you. These are all from great cruelty free brands!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara

This mascara adds both length and volume to your lashes. It also does not flake, transfer, or give you raccoon eyes. This is on sale March 18th for $10. That is a totally reasonable price for an amazing mascara!

Becca Backlight Priming Filter

This primer is amazing. It is one of my favorite, if not my favorite primer in my collection. It has a super fresh scent, makes your skin glow and feel smooth. Your makeup applies beautifully on top! This will be 50% off on March 26th!

Urban Decay Single Eyeshadows

I really do like Urban Decay Eyeshadows. I have tried the Naked 2, 3, and Smoky and I loved both the Naked 2 and Smoky a ton. The 3 is the only one I’m not totally in love with. I love the formula of the Naked 2 and Smoky. I also have tried one of their singles in Midnight Cowboy. It is a pale shimmery pink, and it is stunning! I really like their shimmer and matte formula(Naked 3 mattes were nice, shimmers not so much.) For $9.50 I may pick up a few myself! These will be in sale on March 23rd!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder

I got a sample of this powder on one of my Ipsy bags and I fell in love. This powder really does blur your pores and make your skin look so smooth! I love this powder so much for setting under eyes and T zone. Sadly, my powder broke so I am definitely going to grab this! It will be $14.50 on March 19th!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This mascara is awesome as an everyday mascara, it adds some length and a lot of volume to your lashes. It is also awesome for layering, if you get a lengthening mascara and out this on top you will look like you have false lashes on. You can always get the travel size for $12, but the full size will be $11.50 on April 7th!

That is it for my top 5 cruelty free picks this time for the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale. I’d love to know if you plan on picking any of these products up or any products in general! Also let me know if there are any products that will be on sale that you recommend! I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Everyday Makeup Drawer | March 2018

So last month I shared with you guys my everyday makeup drawer for February and you all seemed to really like it! I’m going to share with you all what is leaving and being added to this months drawer. ๐Ÿ˜ This also includes everything in my 18 by 2018 project pan, but I won’t be including those products in this post.

February’s Drawer

What is leaving?

โ€ขColourpop Double Play Cheek Palette

โ€ขColourpop Single Shadows

โ€ขMilani Baked Bronzer in Dolce

โ€ขMilani Retouch+Erase Concealer

โ€ขPur Afterglow Highlighter

โ€ขIt Cosmetic Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder

I adore all of these products, I just want to play with different products this month. That is why they are leaving my drawer.

New to the Drawer

I added a bunch of makeup that made me think of spring to the drawer this month!

Primer & Setting Spray

Colourpop Aquamarine setting spray and Rose Quartz priming spray– I truly enjoy these two products, and I wish Colourpop would re-release them so I can get back ups! These two are meant for dry skin and they really do hydrate and add a nice natural dew to the skin. Plus the help the longevity of my makeup so well!

Essence Fresh & Fit Awake Primer- another newer product to my collection that I am testing out! This is super glowy and adds some hydration to the skin.

Foundation

Elf Flaweless Foundation– I have a pretty small foundation collection(you know, compared to my other makeup..) I interchange my foundations a lot depending on how I want my skin to look that day. The only new foundation to my drawer (and collection) is the Elf Flawless Finish Foundation. I recently picked this up because Target finally carried the lightest shade ๐ŸคŸ I am still testing it out!

Concealer

La Pro Concealer-this is my favorite everyday concealer (not full coverage) I’m almost out of it so I want to use it up and I will definitely be repurchasing it!

Powder

Found Beauty Translucent Setting Powder– I love this powder! It sets my makeup beautifully and leaves my skin with a natural glow(no shimmer in the product) it just gives you that perfect healthy skin look!

Essence Brighten Up Banana Powder– Finally a Banana Powder light enough to set my undereyes! Review on this baby coming soon

Brows

Wet N Wild Retractable Brow Pencil– I have been using this brow pencil for about 2 weeks now and I’ve been liking it for everyday. Quick and easy, and makes your brows look natural and beautiful!

Eyeshadow

Makeup Revolution Newtrals 2– this was in my most recent drugstore haul. I love the shades and I have been creating a lot of looks with it since I’ve gotten it!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette– I have barely used this since last spring, so I brought it out so I can start creating spring looks! Maybe by using this it’ll feel more like spring ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒผ

Colourpop Element Of Surprise and I Think I Love You– I love both of these palettes so much. I Think I Love You is the perfect everyday palette and Element Of Suprise is the perfect mixture of neutrals and brights with a couple iridescent shades!

Wet N Wild Comfort Zone & Elf Peach Squad– Go tos for quick everyday look. I’ve been loving peach squad for a super quick springy look.

Bronzer

Essence Luminous Matt & Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil– Essence Luminous Matt is new to my collection and I’ve been loving it, Milk Chocolate Soleil has been neglected and needs some love!

Blush

Wet N Wild Apricot In The Middle, Essence Satin Coral, and Burt’s Bees Bare Peach- spring calls for peach and coral blush, these are my favorites in my collection!

Highlighters

Laura Gellar Baked Illuminator Trio, Pixi London Lustre, Luna Cosmetics Highlighter in Luna, Wet N Wild Blossom Glow– Yes this is a LOT of highlight for one month, but I interchange my highlight daily and I’m also just obsessed ๐Ÿ˜‚

That is everything in my everyday makeup drawer for March! I know it went up a little late, but better late than never am I right?! Also I have not included lippies because I found I didn’t really even reach for any of the lippies I had last month, so instead I am going to share with you the top lippies I have been reaching for at the end of the month! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I really love doing it and I will keep doing it monthly!

Cruelty Free Drugstore Haul

I decided to spoil myself a little and get some drugstore makeup goodies that have been on my wish list! Ulta has recently expanded their drugstore section and added some brands that had only been online! They also expanded and added more products to the Makeup Revolution and Essence sections (they are in my top 5 drugstore brands!) Also the Ulta right by my house has Colourpop in store and I was SO FREAKING EXCITED! Okay, I’m going to calm down now and just show you what I got!

Essence Fresh and Fit Awake Primer

Whenever anything says “fresh” and “awake” I immediately think glowy and I need it. I have tried this once and it definitely adds a nice glow to the skin. Plus it was only $6!

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow

My Ulta was out of a lot of the Super Shock Shadows(I really wanted Cheap Date), but I saw Sailor and I knew it would be so pretty with so many looks. It is a warm beige with multidimensional glitter. It’ll be perfect for an everyday look if you want something a little unique, and perfect for any colorful look!

Essence Luminous Matte Bronzer

The Essence Matt Bronzing Powder is one of my top 5 favorite bronzer in my collection. When I saw they had came out with a Luminous Matt Bronzer I wanted it in my life. Luminous Matt really just means Satin. I’ve worn it once and I like how it blends and I like the shade!

Essence Brighten Up Banana Powder

Banana powders always scare me because of how fair I am, they never look right under my eyes. They actually usually make my concealer look darker. When I saw this one in store, I saw how light this was. It is a very pale yellow. Ive used it once and I do notice it actually brightens! I need to use it a few more times to get a better opinion on it though.

Makeup Revolution Reloaded Palette in Newtrals 2

I have seen these Reloaded palettes all over Instagram recently. The two I wanted were this one and the Division palette(the Subculture dupe.) These shadows are very pigmented and blendable! And the shimmers are super intense. $7 for 15 awesome shadows? I need them all!

Essence Eye Blender Brush

I’m a crease brush addict. I have a lot of them and I just keep getting more ๐Ÿ˜‚ I really like this one because it’s super fluffy but tapered. Perfect for applying your transition shade! Plus, it is only $2!

Elf Flawless Finish Foundation

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on it for so long! I have tried this foundation in the past, but the lightest shade was too dark(I also broke the bottle but we don’t need to get into that.) I honestly can’t remember what I thought of it. Elf added more shades to the range probably 6 or 7 months ago. I never got around to ordering this shade, so when I saw it at Target I didn’t hesitate to get it. I’m definitely going to be doing a review on this!

That is is for my drugstore haul! I am very excited to play with all of these products more! Let me know if you’d like to see separate reviews on any of these products. ๐Ÿ˜€

February Favorites 2018

Hello March and hello Spring! I am very excited to be heading into warmer weather! But, I will admit, these February snow days have been pretty awesome. I don’t have a ton of favorites this month, because I honestly tried to use different products everyday, so I only have a few that REALLY stood out as favorites. Like last month, I am going to share another Netflix fav. I think I will do this monthly. I’m a Netflix addict, so I always like to know good shows to watch. I thought why not share my favs with you!

Elf Lip Laquer in Natural

This gloss has been hanging in my purse all month. I have been wearing a lot on the go and to work. It’s a really pretty light peachy nude shade. The formula is super comfortable, not sticky at all. My favorite part about this gloss? It is $2! They have 10 shades, a majority of them the same shades as their Matte Lip Colors(they have recreated a few shades in the matte liquid lipsticks as well.) I want to try more shades from this line, I’m super impressed!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye

I received this in my February Ipsy bag, and at first when I swatched it I was kind fo skeptical, it felt super thick and heavy. Once I applied it though, I fell in love. It brightens up your undereyes and conceals your dark circles. It doesn’t not feel cakey or heavy, and makes your undereyes look flawless!

Wet N Wild Retractable Brow Pencil

Most of the new Wet N Wild products hit shelves this month, and I found their new brow pencil! At first, I didn’t know if I liked this product. I just think it was a weird day because I really really like it now! With it’s triangular top, it makes your brows look full yet natural. I really like how put together my brows look when I use this!

Luna Cosmetics Baked Highlighter in Luna

I also received this in my Ipsy bag and immediately fell in love. This highlighter is so smooth, pigmented, and buttery. It gives you a beautiful wet look to the skin that does not cling to any texture you may have. My favorite part is the shade, it is a light peachy golden shade that is super unique to my collection. This is one thing from Ipsy that I’ve seen people get and have wanted to try, so when I saw it was in my bag I was so happy! This is going to be such a great highlight for bring and summer!

Wet N Wild Natural Finish Setting Spray

This setting spray will have your makeup looking fresh for HOURS. I had my makeup on for a little over 6 hours and when I did a little check in, I was shocked that everything still looked like I had just applied it. THIS IS A $5 SETTING SPRAY! I like how small it is, you can easily throw it in your purse as a refresher, also the actual spray is nice and fine.

Parks and Rec

This show is absolutely ridiculous in all of the best ways possible. I usually can’t stop laughing when this is on. I just watched an episode and I’m trying not to giggle while typing this, okay that’s a problem (a good problem I guess.) This show is about a group of friends that work in a Parks and Recreation department in a small Indiana town. As the seasons go you watch the characters grow and new things arise, good and bad. But it will always have you laughing! I can’t stop recommending this show to people!

And that’s a wrap for my February favorites! I hope you all had a great month, and have a great March! And guess what happens this month ladies and gents, Ulta 21 Days of Beauty. ๐Ÿ˜ Technically it’s at the end of the month but, I am looking forward to it! My wallet isnt. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Make sure to ‘like’ and follow so I know to do more posts like this! โค๏ธ
